CEEC specializes in providing guidance and support to individuals and institutions who seek to access world class education in Britain. We started in 2004 by offering an engaging educational program in the UK to Chinese students. We are now expanding our focus beyond China. CEEC offers comprehensive advice and support advice for students and parents on all aspects of UK education. From choosing a school that best fit the students’ needs and realise the student’s potential, to career planning and applying to university, we have a team of education experts who collectively have years of experience in offering advice and guidance. We also offer a wide range of other related services.
In the past years, CEEC has developed partnerships with UK and Chinese organizations. We had great success in placing participants in our programmes including high school students, university graduates, teachers, visiting scholars and professionals. CEEC is based in Cambridge with wide connection in China.

CEEC has expertise in all areas of the development of international schools and their curricular. We have fostered close relationships with other accreditation, academic and consultative agencies. We connect the UK network with partners abroad who wish to invest in or establish co-operation with leading schools and universities, as well as other educational projects.
Our expertise and connections allow us to offer advice and support advice on the establishment and management of educational projects abroad from international school start-ups and development, to setting up a branch of a British boarding school in China We also help clients devise curriculum and teaching materials for an online English language and advise overseas clients on acquiring a boarding school in the UK.

At CEEC, we believe that a combination of experience and knowledge in a new culture provide curious and engaged high school students the opportunities to acquire new perspective of the country they are studying, of the world, and perhaps most importantly, of themselves.
We offer holiday programs in the UK and Ireland to high school students from abroad. Our programs incorporate both experience and knowledge, giving inquisitive young people the opportunity to get below the surface of these countries and emerge from their experiences with a new, more global perspective.
We represent some of the best summer language and activity courses at British boarding schools and devise our own tailor-made courses and expeditions.
Families who are considering sending their children to a British boarding school are well advised to start this journey with a two to three-week summer program at one of the leading schools in the UK. For children who speak English as a second language, there are excellent language and activities program. Participants will find themselves among a carefully selected group of high school students from many nations. During their time in the course, students not only gain invaluable western cultural appreciation but also have access to the schools’ world-renowned teachers and facilities.
For those who speak English but want to gain the feel of what it is like to be at a boarding school, there are courses where they can join other British children and take part in a range of sporting, artistic and musical activities, cultural events and trips to the country’s famous places of interest.
We consider this to be the ideal way to learn English, by total language and cultural immersion. We place children with families who have spacious country houses, with outdoor facilities such as tennis courts and riding stables. The child will be joined by a full-time tutor and we try to match the child to a family who have similar aged children. We either place children on their own or in small groups. A typical day will include two to four hours of language instruction, the rest of the day being spent with the family and the tutor, exploring the local places of interest and taking part in outdoor activities. Each program is different, according to the interests of the child.
Our online lessons are co-developed and designed by Headmaster Keith (Barton School) and several elite teachers in St Mary’s school. Together they bring the most comprehensive study materials for our students, covering reception to KS3 level. We provide lessons for six core subjects and cover all core modules that are taught in UK schools: English, Maths and Science, as well as History and Geography. We focus not only on teaching the depth of each subject but also on developing individual student’s ability to self-direct study and to think critically. Most of our teachers graduated from top universities in the UK such as Cambridge University, with teaching qualifications and have years of teaching experience.
UK Guardianship
Education Guardianship
All British boarding schools insist that pupils under the age of 18 whose parents are live aboard have a guardian resident in the UK. Such guardians are appointed by pupils’ parents and hold all responsibility for travel and safety when children are outside school.
A guardian will act as the local in-country contact in case of emergency and ensure that the child is well cared for at exeat weekends and half term holidays, if they are not planning to return home. A guardian may deliver any provisions the child needs at school and arrange any appointments (e.g. to doctors or to visit other schools and universities).
In addition to having your child to stay with them at exeats and half term holidays, your child’s guardian will attend parents’ meeting on your behalf, keep in regular contact with both you and your child, so they can act quickly should any concern or issue arise. Children can remain with the same guardian family throughout their time with us, meaning warm, long-lasting friendships will grow as they progress through their time at school.
If your child requires a visa to study at boarding school in the UK, you will also need to submit the details of your UK guardian arrangements with the visa application form.
Our Guardianship Services
CEEC is a professional organisation which provides long-term support and trustworthy Guardianship Services for overseas pupils attending schools in Britain, to ensure that their experience of studying in the UK is positive and rewarding.
CEEC’s guardian families are professional people with nice homes. All guardians are well experienced and qualified; extensive background checks are made on all staff before employment. Most of our guardians have current or past experience of independent education.
The role played by our guardians goes well beyond this minimum legal requirement. They have a profound understanding in the dynamics of boarding, enjoy the friendship and trust of their charges, and offer them reliable advice and support. They are very supportive and caring families who will take an interest in overseas pupil’s wellbeing, and work closely with pupils, parents, housemasters and teachers to and offer reassurance that every overseas child is safe, well cared for and happy.
